‘The Economist’ and it’s big mouth…

Reading ‘The Economist’ week after week is so much fun. Every morning I need a topic to write my daily blog. Nothing rattles my cage better than The Economist. The editorial board of The Economist is so bigoted that it is actually comical. Whenever a story has something to do with India, the phony British morality is all over the place. How long do the ‘English’ plan to continue with this colonial garbage? India got it’s independence 61 years back but the United Kingdom appears to cling to those distant memories when they could order the Indians around and the poor natives obliged. Today, India is on its way to become a sizable power within the next 40 years. India’s rise would not be in a national context. India is rising as a civilization and would continue to do so for probably a few centuries. The first step towards that goal was the ‘Big Bang’ in May 1998 that the world first heard and accepted the inevitable. The Economist, and its minions, could keep advertising this fact all over the world for as long as they desire. It makes no difference to India or Indians. We would test if we have to, Indo-US deal notwithstanding! Stop being childish, for God sake!
