Send Raj Thackeray to Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp!

Raj Thackeray has qualified to be admitted to the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp, Cuba. Indians have been accepted to Berkley, Harvard and Stanford Universities, but nobody has managed to secure a seat at ‘Gitmo’. If any ‘Mumbaikar’ has a problem with that, Government of India could use its newly found influence with the US to get one additional berth for him too. I had mixed feelings about the whole idea of Guantanamo bay and the technique of ‘Waterboarding’ the terrorists. Watching Raj Thackeray and his reign of terror, through Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, I am convinced about the justification of having a facility like Gitmo. These characters are not fit to live in a civilized society. Violence for any reason is totally unacceptable.

Rajasaheb Shrikant Thackeray was born on June 14, 1968 in Bombay, India. He is the son of late Shrikant Thackeray, a musician and a Marathi film-maker, who was also the younger brother of Balasaheb Thackeray, founder of the militant Shiv Sena. Raj was educated at the Bal Mohan Vidya Mandir, a school located in Dadar, close to his residence in Shivaji Park. He is an arts graduate from Sir J J School of Arts, Bombay. He likes to draw cartoons like his estranged uncle Bal Thackeray. Raj started his political career as a youth-wing leader in the Shiv Sena. He rose through the ranks and was seen as the number two in the party before his alleged involvement in the Ramesh Kinny murder case. Balasaheb side-tracked Raj in favor of his own son Uddhav Thackeray. Raj Thackeray resigned from the party in December 2005 after blaming Uddhav and his companions for ruining the Shiv Sena. He formed the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on March 9, 2006.

  1. Dont be sarcastic, if you dont know the issue in detail…! We too condemn the attacks on the up, bihari’s. but one thing what you need to understand that the formation of india is based on linguistic states and its legal and logical to have preference of local people in the local jobs. it not only applies to mumbai or maharashtra, but any state and any place in india. if you reject this, then you are rejecting the constitution of india. Raj Thackeray warned the administration and railway ministry n number of times that this law should be respected by all the departments and private firms. But no body is listening, so you have the incidents of this kinds.

this will happen to any place, its happening in the southern states, its happenning in assam. gujrat, rajasthan and even we have heard the plight of indian call centre people where local us people are calling and abusing our guys. its the question of survival and you have to respect the sons of the soil and they should get the preference in all the jobs, education and other civilian rights.

think about it, its a universal question, and Raj is telling the government the same thing to let these sons of soil get their dues with respect…!

  2. a hell yea for this, i hope the bastard n his followers (gavti ghatti’s with iqs below 10) are thrown in gitmo to rot in the filthiest n stinkiest cells for the rest of his life… they have earned this

  3. Guptaji,

In World War 2, should the Allies have heeded Mahatma Gandhi’s call for non-violence, and offered themselves to be slaughtered by Hitler?

Even in the Gita, Krishna tells Arjuna the circumstances in which violence is acceptable. Krishna tried to prevent the war till the very end, but when the Kauravas remained unamenable to reason and fair play, he advised Arjuna to do his duty.

Your logic about “violence for any reason being totally unacceptable” is thus flawed, aside from the irony that UP/Bihar has taken violence in politics to a whole new level.

And please go through Raj Thackeray’s reply to Sudheendra Kulkarni’s open letter – perhaps that will alter your perception of him and what he is really saying, as opposed to what your Hindi/English media are telling you he is saying. Here is the link :

  4. Just wondering how much IQ does it require to write the message:

“Raj, on October 23rd, 2008 at 12:30 pm Said:
a hell yea for this, i hope the bastard n his followers (gavti ghatti’s with iqs below 10) are thrown in gitmo to rot in the filthiest n stinkiest cells for the rest of his life… they have earned this”
    :D
